Keep Your Eye on the Prize!

The TED video we watched in class today was a very inspirational video. While watching it I found it hard to make notes because I was so drawn into what Brain Stevenson was saying. He was very good at getting his point across. He told a powerful story, a story that inspired him to never drink alcohol, and 52 years later, he still hadn't. He told this story to get the point across, and that point was your identity matters, its what can change the world. He then also says some scary thoughts, that our identity is at risk. He says they are at risk because of not caring, and that we can strenghten our identities by paying attetnion to suffering, instead of ignoring it. He says we must be brave, because this way of finding a identity is a hard path to go on, but the most rewarding. You can not give up when your tired, and when your tired, you can actually change in a way you never thought you could. Keep you eye on the prize, that is the key of this speech, as long as you can do that, you will do very well in this world. Keep your eye on the prize!
